What is a Data processing agreement (DPA)?

A data processing agreement (DPA) is a legal contract between a business and an individual that sets out the terms for how the business will process personal data about the individual. The DPA should include details about how you will handle the data, who has access to it, what kind of security measures you have in place, and how long you will keep it.
