What is Data Processor?

Data processors are the people who process your data. The most common type of data processors are web hosting companies, but they can also be software as a service providers. Data processors have access to your data and can use it in any way they see fit. They do this without your explicit consent or approval, but you do have some control over how much information they share with others.
