After a chance meeting at a basketball camp that led to a lifelong friendship, Thomas and Kivanc noticed that the world’s rapid digitalisation created challenges for businesses to be compliant while at the same time being able to deliver valuable customer experiences to accelerate growth.
DataGuard was founded to help SME and corporates navigate this reality. Bootstrapped for the first two years, Series A investment followed in 2020 which allowed rapid growth, becoming multi product, acquiring a UK-based consent and preference SaaS business, and launched in new geographies.
Fast forward to 2022, we have grown to almost 250 team members, providing customers on-demand and industry-specific support and have just closed our Series B which will further accelerate our product development and expansion across Europe and the US.
