What is International transfers safeguard?

It is the EUIs' responsibility to ensure that the transfers of personal data they make and that are carried out on their behalf inside and beyond the European Economic Area are done so in accordance with EU data protection laws. Standard contractual provisions for transfers, as well as other transfer methods described in Article 48 of Regulation, can be used by the EUI or its processor to provide adequate security.
