Munich, March 18, 2026

DataGuard, a leading SaaS security and compliance software provider, has once again improved its standing in the latest business software rankings published by the platform G2, achieving top positions in Data Privacy Management and Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC). In the G2 Spring 2026 Report, DataGuard further bolstered the strong results it had already achieved in the previous winter report.

G2 operates one of the world’s largest platforms for business software comparisons, using an algorithm-driven methodology based on verified user reviews and market presence data. The quarterly Grid Reports position vendors within a framework that categorizes them as Leaders, High Performers, Contenders, or Niche players.

For Spring 2026, DataGuard further strengthens its position among the top providers in the Data Privacy Management category. In the regional rankings for Europe, EMEA, and the United Kingdom, the company continues to hold first place. At a global level, its rankings improved from fourth to second place.

DataGuard was also recognized for the first time as a “Europe Regional Leader” in the Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) category. The total number of performance badges awarded to the company increased from 9 in the winter report to 11 in the spring edition.

“The improved top rankings—particularly in the European comparisons—are both a validation of our offering and a strong motivation for us,” said Kivanç Semen, Co-Founder and Co-CEO of DataGuard. “We are increasingly seeing a trend where companies prefer to rely on European expertise rather than US providers when it comes to security and compliance. For companies like DataGuard that are already well established in the market, this development also presents a significant opportunity.”
