DataGuard, the data protection and information security company, has hired Ben Harknett as Vice President International. Ben is an experienced SaaS executive who has led go-to-market (GTM) teams across Europe and the US for over 10 years. Ben will be responsible for DataGuard’s global revenue growth and go-to-market efforts.

Harknett has led GTM teams for over 10 years, specialising in enterprise SaaS solutions. His experience spans the UK, Europe and the US. As Global Vice President Sales at Permutive (Adtech) and Vice President EMEA at RiskIQ (Cyber Security), he built teams in the Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and Channel divisions in the UK, France, Germany, and in his most recent position the US. Harknett’s laser focus on growth increased global and EMEA sales 17-fold at Permutive and 10-fold at RiskIQ in just three years. No stranger to acquisitions, as Head of EMEA at Google he integrated the Wildfire acquisition into the EMEA business – valuable experience to support integrating DataGuard’s recent acquisition of MyLife Digital.

Harknett reports to Thomas Regier, Co-Founder and Co-CEO of DataGuard. Thomas says: “We are very excited to welcome an excellent and ambitious leader like Ben to the management team.
