The EU AI Act II: the providers awaken

August is getting closer and it will probably bear news: we expect the EU AI Act to come into force this month. The world’s first comprehensive artificial intelligence regulations are upon us. In this second episode, we will touch on the updates the EU AI Act entails for providers.

Who is a provider, according to the Act? A provider is any entity that develops an AI system or that has an AI system developed and placed on the market or put into service under its own name or trademark, whether for payment or free of charge.
